The third edition of Archaeometric Talks will be hosted by the University of Hradec Králové under the theme Experiment and Archaeometry. Following the previous meetings held in Prague and Brno, the conference continues its tradition of fostering interdisciplinary dialogue between archaeology, the natural sciences, and other related disciplines.
The theme reflects the long-standing tradition of experimental archaeology at the Department of Archaeology, University of Hradec Králové, and highlights the crucial role of experimental methods in testing hypotheses generated through archaeometric research. This process is essential for linking analytical results with technological processes and archaeological interpretation. The conference will provide a platform for presenting current research, methodological developments, and new opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration. The event is intended for researchers and students engaged in archaeological research employing experimental and archaeometric methods.

Accommodation is not arranged by the conference organisers. Participants are kindly asked to book their accommodation individually.

Meals are not organised by the conference. Participants can choose from a wide range of restaurants, cafés and bistros in the city centre.
