The Department of Archeology FF UHK is co-organizer of the session “Battle fields and armed conflicts of the 15th – 19th Century in historical memory and reality” as part of the World Archaeological Congress 2020.
Main topic is about comparison of historical, iconographic and cartographic sources dealing with war conflicts with the testimony of archaeological sources, because they can fundamentally supplement the information we have about these events. The section is also open to topics dealing with the methodology of research on battlefields and other areas related to war conflicts. Papers can be submitted until April 21, 2020.
